A love poem

And then there was this woman, with her wings, and her hours,

and her desires. This woman came and made a disturbance.

Somehow she made me remember a world beyond time and space.

Somehow she built a church for unknown gods

and lifted the rocks that had been buried for so long.

And a truth was born, so deep, so immense that words

could not describe it.

Yet here I am attempting to build a monument to a ghost,

looking for water and finding echoes. I surrender.
